The Role
We are looking for a broad and prestigeless Controller to join our Finance department. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of accounting and business controlling within a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our financial reporting, both for Sweden and smaller international subsidiaries. We are searching for someone who is good at analyzing financial details and finding ways to make processes simpler and move strategic projects forward.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of monthly closings, creating reports for financial reporting, and analysis. This role leads the annual reporting process and ensures internal controls and policies are maintained at a high standard. The position supports the organization by conducting budget follow-ups and forecasting across various departments within cost control. Additionally, this role manages consolidation and quality assurance for the group's financial statements, including establishing internal standardized processes. Finally, the role serves as a subject matter expert in relevant areas to educate the internal organization on financial processes.
We are a small department that promotes helping each other and educating within the group, which will give opportunities to grow in other areas as well. We are looking for someone who is positive, adaptable, and thrives in a scale-up environment where rapid changes are the norm. Finally, you will join a team focused on proactivity, where we take ownership and where you naturally identify areas for improvement.

We believe you have: 

A BSc or MSc in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.


Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling and/or other relevant areas of controlling.


Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze and summarize large data sets quickly.


Solid experience in financial reporting and year-end closings.


Experience with creating monthly reports and providing documentation to support internal business decisions.


You should be analytical, taking pride in ensuring everything is correct with a strong eye for detail.


Strong communication skills are essential; you need to be able to cooperate effectively and explain complex financial matters to non-finance stakeholders. 


Fluent in Swedish and English.


Meritorious: Experience with group consolidation and/or transfer pricing and system changes.

The role
In the role of Data Specialist, you will work closely with leading automotive customers at the forefront of autonomous driving and AD/ADAS perception model development. As the technical expert within the account team, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality training data for these models.
You will own the technical setup of each project, serving as the central point for data quality, workflow optimization, customer onboarding, and technical communication. The role blends deep domain expertise in autonomous driving with hands-on involvement in data and annotation workflows, as well as strong cross-functional collaboration both internally and with customers.
Examples of topics our team addresses include: determining the level of detail required in ground-truth annotations to deliver reliable system KPIs and support safety validation. As well as advising clients on how the objective of building safe autonomous vehicles translates to perception system KPI requirements, as well as annotation context, content, and quality.
We are looking for you!
We're looking for someone who ticks the following boxes:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Automotive engineering, Machine learning)
5+ years of experience in data quality or related fields, with a focus on AD/ADAS perception systems Expertise in AD/ADAS perception use cases (sensor modalities, annotation requirements, dataset design) to achieve specific system objectives
Hands-on experience in machine learning for AD/ADAS, with a strong grasp of how annotated data impacts model training, system performance, and safety compliance.
Deep understanding of data annotation workflows and quality assurance for training perception models in autonomous driving applications.

Experience using Python and working in databases () or similar languages
Experience in customer interactions (conducting technical demos, data analysis, addressing customer-specific needs) Strong communication skills, translating complex technical concepts for cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring high productivity while maintaining data quality standards.

The role
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with your team, Customer Success, Engineering, Sales, and our Data Delivery teams throughout the lifecycle of customer engagements. You'll be the bridge between technical integration and customer collaboration, building robust data pipelines and integrations around our platform, participating in pilots and early pre-sales conversations, and guiding customers through both automated and human-in-the-loop workflows. 
Along the way, you'll investigate edge cases and data issues, turning complex findings into practical solutions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys owning problems end-to-end, from the initial scoping phase to delivering stable, scalable solutions in production-like environments. Our primary development language is Python.

You should understand perception and sensor fusion concepts, including coordinate frames, transformations, projections, and geometry. The ability to verify results across multi-sensor setups is valuable. English fluency required.
You should also be fluent in English, written and spoken, since this is our corporate language. Helpful skills include experience with car sensors, machine learning/AI, and coding languages other than Python - but these aren't required. Having an engineering degree (or similar experience) and understanding how distributed systems work is also a plus.

The RoleAs the Engineering Manager for our Order Team, you lead, coach, and manage the team. You will work with a group of driven product developers skilled in backend and frontend development and UX design and interact with developers and stakeholders across the company.
The team owns our customers' user journeys and builds the APIs and applications for specifying and ordering data projects. It works with everything from data upload and conversion to authentication and authorisation, creating a composable foundation for client workflows. The Role

As the Customer Education Specialist, you will learn about our platform and then put yourself in the role of different stakeholders. Your role entails ensuring training is provided for our new and existing products and features, understanding the needs of current and future users, defining use cases or user scenarios, and providing training through videos, guides, or hands-on sessions. You will be responsible for designing curriculums in collaboration with subject-matter experts, both to ensure consistency in messaging throughout all educational content and to guarantee relevance to the target audience. You will also be utilizing metrics to iteratively enhance content by continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness. You will analyze how our tools are used, understand how our customers want to interface with them, and come up with methods and tools to teach many people. This role is pivotal in laying the foundational piece for onboarding new customers, retaining current customers, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

The team’s mission is to support the company’s growth from a start-up to a large corporation, especially as we transition into becoming a group company with legal entities abroad.
Being part of a growing start-up means you will be expected to drive and enhance our internal capabilities as needed and to be part of a dynamic environment. The basis is within the financial controlling area, but expect to support within the business controlling area as well, working closely with the organization.
Areas of Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance with K3 (and potentially IFRS in the future) accounting standards and relevant legislation.


Monitor that all the procedures for the month-end closing are followed.


Review month and reconciliations closely working with the accounting team and the business controllers.


Working closely with the business to ensure that accounting policies are implemented properly.


Managing the audit process and liaising with external personnel as required.


Streamlining and improving accounting systems and operations.


Reviewing and validating data for both fixed and variable costs of business activities.


Driving the implementation of an ERP system and ensuring that it holds data that is recorded correctly in a timely manner.


Analyzing revenue, cost, etc., of all areas of financial control.


Ensure accurate project accounting and revenue and cost recognition.


Report results and goal achievement.


Ensure that there are well-functioning financial information systems in place.


Clarify economic events, causes, and consequences.


Develop and present structured analyses.


Investigate whether and how a product or service is profitable.


Provide advice and support to management.

The Role
As Acting Director of Customer Success (CS) your primary job is to coach and develop the team. This includes resource planning for project deliveries, recruitment, performance review, analysis of competence gaps, and other actions to create a high-performing team and maintain a healthy working condition. Part of this is also to set the objectives for the functional teams within the ownership areas and support the delivery against these objectives. Together with the team you will be the customer expert to ensure that we reach KPIs and drive customer-focused topics in the management team to pivot the organization to be more customer-centric.
You will form the service strategy with other service directors and VP of Professional Services (ProServ), as a part of the ProServ management team. The service organization delivers against the ProServ profitability targets and you as the acting Director of CS will be responsible for your team's part and contribution to the profitability targets. As an acting Director of CS, you oversee the department's resources, targets, operations, and outcomes. The Role
As our next Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from the customer's perspective where you will be acting as a project manager/ product expert depending on what the situation requires. Customer Project Manager (CPM) will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from the customer's perspective. The Data Delivery Team is a central part of Kognic, especially when it comes to Advanced automotive labeling solutions (annotations) where we are the link between our customers, annotators and the platform. The “rules” are information in the form of labels, or tags and Annotators are the workforce who tag and label the data. In Platform Engineering you will be responsible for building a core platform for improving the developer experience for our product teams. Our goal is to empower them to deliver scalable and reliable software by creating a golden path and paved road.

The role
As a Customer Success Manager at Kognic you will act as a partner, coach, project manager or product expert - depending on what the situation requires.

You will be at the heart of things, both within Kognic and in the interface with our customers. We are depending on you to build strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers and work closely with them on a daily basis to ensure that they get the most out of their engagement with Kognic. You don’t do this alone, you will be a part of and lead account teams together with Perception Experts, Data Delivery Managers and Account Managers.

In this role, you are a part of shaping the future of Kognic by being the expert of our clients and ensuring our position in the market by continuously growing our client base and retaining satisfied customers. You will work closely with Product Management and our Engineering teams and communicate to them what our customers need today and what they want in the future.

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team.

In Platform Engineering you will be responsible for building a core platform for improving the developer experience for our product teams. Our goal is to empower them to deliver scalable and reliable software by creating a golden path and paved road.

The team responsibilities cover the full scope of developer experience and there are many opportunities to make an impact. As the company grows, we are continuously evolving our core platform, finding new ways to improve the developer experience and expanding the paved road. A past effort by the team has been introducing GitOps with ArgoCD which greatly improved the deployment workflow for our developers.

Our tech stack consists of Kubernetes, observability in the form of Grafana, Prometheus and Thanos, GitOps with ArgoCD and cloud infrastructure on top of Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge about similar tech stacks is counted as experience.

You will join one of the teams within our Ground Truth Production product area. The team’s mission is to enable effortless and efficient production of high-quality ground truth. It is responsible for the tools used by annotators on camera, LiDAR, and radar data. The cross-functional team identifies valuable improvements and suitable solutions. Some current skills in the group include UX/UI design, frontend and backend development, and machine learning. We are now looking for additional product developers strong in frontend development to join.

What you will do

Our users’ job is to produce high-quality ground truth, and they rely on us to provide the tools enabling them to do that. Speed is essential, but also efficiency and accuracy. We need to minimize the annotation time while keeping the quality high. A straightforward and precise UI for professional users is at the job’s core. 2D and 3D performance, as well as loading times, are other essential parts. Beyond the pure frontend parts, interactive machine learning tools can simplify or even automate many tedious tasks. Together with the team, you will prioritize what to build based on usage data and the value you expect from each solution.

Our Tech Stack

Our web app is modularly built using TypeScript and React. We develop our backend with Scala and Python and deliver the complete solution using Kubernetes on Google Cloud. We rely on ElasticSearch to enable real-time search capabilities.

We are looking for several candidates with solid skills in building web applications using TypeScript and React. Experience in video, 3D, drawing apps, or experience using D3 or Three.js is a great plus. An interest in metrics or testing user interactions is also meritorious.

Our clients want to build autonomous vehicles, where high quality data is key for the AI algorithm in these vehicles. In order to create high quality data, Annotell has created a powerful data platform in order to help our clients reach this goal. Through our platform they have access to Perception analytics (track KPIs, measure data, and validate performance), Coverage analytics (viewing, sorting, and managing data) and ground truth creation (labeling of data using only our platform, or our workforce).

Last but not least, you will be selling the service, support and development from our extremely talented teams inside Kognic!

The role

An account Executive should have a deep understanding of Kognics domain and an ability to turn relationships into paid pilots and long term contracts by :

- Understanding of what it takes to build a safe, high performing perception system

- Understanding of who is a suitable customer for us

- Understanding of customer needs

- Understanding of our current product offerings and product strategy to determine if a customer is a good fit

- Create exposure:That for example means being active on LinkedIn and publishing information relevant to our audience to build our brand and name recognition.



- Guide marketing: Make use of focused marketing methods to expose customers to relevant content.



- Get to know the strongest perception teams in the world: Identify which teams are the best,and build a strong enough relationship with them to get introductory meetings scheduled explaining why we are their best choice of partner.



- Build relationships: Keep engaging relevant stakeholders and build trust/rapport over time.Make sure we stay in touch through meetings, emails/messages, chats at conferences, etc.without becoming a nuisance.



- Build strong technical know how: Absorb information relevant to Kognic’s offering/our customers’ work to allow for competent conversations without communication overhead.



- Progress deals with urgency:Ensure that opportunities in the pipeline are progressing by acting proactively and taking ownership of said progress. Be the lead in driving quoting processes towards customers.



- Demonstrate our product capabilities: Perform product demos to showcase how our product and services help the customer fulfill their needs

Kognic is a fast-growing startup with a mission to provide the world’s best platform to make safe perception for autonomous mobility happen. We are now looking for a master thesis student for the spring 2023.

Project scope

This position is a master thesis project, typically encompassing 30 ECTS or equivalent. The project amounts to investigating how some of the latest active learning methods can help speed up the annotation process by actively selecting only the most valuable data for annotation. We expect the work to be based on research, documented with source code as well as a well-written thesis according to the instructions of the applicant’s home university.

Requirements

The applicant has to be about to complete their MSc degree (or equivalent), with only a master thesis project left before graduation. The anticipated degree should be within the area of autonomous driving or a closely related field. We expect the applicant to already hold a BSc degree (or equivalent) in a related field. In particular we expect theoretical knowledge and practical experience of…

- Programming (in particular python and pyTorch/Tensorflow)

- Computer vision (in particular camera and Lidar images)

- Deep learning (in particular object detection, such as faster R-CNN and YOLO)



In addition, we expect the applicant to be fluent in English and be able to read and understand research articles in the field.
