We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to work in our team with a main focus on pulp technologies, to continue our successful journey for selling, supporting and executing performance agreement solution worldwide including our VII (Valmet Industrial Internet) services and tools. Your work location can be any major Valmet location in Sweden (Karlstad, Sundsvall, Gothenburg or Stockholm).
Are you the candidate we are looking for?
Your main tasks and focus areas are:

Develop customer business in agreement solutions and Lifecycle services and support Areas in sales of agreements for pulp technologies both in CAP (capital) sales cases and to existing customer installations.
Develop and integrate digital solutions into agreement frameworks and processes and participate in the development of new digital solutions.
Support Areas in execution of agreements and customers' plant development to ensure delivery of Valmet added value.
Train and develop the Area organization in agreement sales and execution.


In addition you will also:


Perform and support proposal work, costing of agreements and preparing quotations, sales presentations, and negotiations.
Support and participate in the development and execution of Lifecycle services.
Give customer presentations.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
Very good understanding of our customers' operation and or maintenance business. Preferably gained by several years of working experience from operations and/or maintenance of Pulp mills or similar process solutions, in an international and industrial environment.
Graduate degree in mechanical, maintenance or process engineering or operations of pulp mills, or equivalent.
Experience in sales and commercial awareness.
Experience in digital solutions for the industry.
Analytic, project planning and execution capability.
Fluent in Swedish and English, in writing and verbally. Other languages are considered beneficial.
Good skills in common IT-tools like MS Office and Sharepoint.

Requirements
We are looking for a strong team player who appreciates co-operation with people from different backgrounds and functions inside and outside of the company. If you have experience from leading others in a technical situation or in a managing position, we see that as a merit. You have a strong drive for reaching set goals, are service-minded and have a “we can do” attitude. In addition, we require:
Educational background: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Minimum 10 years of experience from strength analysis of machines, tanks, pressure vessels and components.
Knowledge from pulp industries, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of the specific equipment that we have in our scope of supply.
Good knowledge of piping analysis is preferred.
Experience of CFD can be a merit.
Experience in using tools such as PV Elite, Ansys, Solid Works and office applications.
Fluent written and verbal English and Swedish skills.

Solid experience in recruiting various roles (including technical positions).

Hos oss på Valmet får du möjlighet att bli projektledare i vårt Energy, Recovery and Environmental Service team. Vårt huvudfokus är uppgraderingar och service av soda-, kraft- och värmepannor. Vi arbetar även med indunstningsanläggningar, mesaugnar, kausticering och rökgasrening. Projektvärdena ligger normalt mellan 0,2 och 5 MEUR, och projekten genomförs vanigtvis inom 6-12 månader.
Som projektledare på Valmet har du möjlighet att genomföra komplexa projekt tillsammans med ett mycket kvalificerat projektteam. Projekten genomförs i högt tempo med relativt kort genomförandetid och inom ett år har du tagit projektet från konstruktion till slutförd installation hos kunden. Det innebär också att du måste gilla att snabbt hitta nya lösningar och fatta beslut vid eventuella utmaningar under projektet.
Förutom att genomföra projekt kommer du också ansvara för serviceavtal mot våra kunder. Avtalen inkluderar vanligtvis processutvärderingar av anläggningen, årliga inspektioner samt utveckling av anläggningen och dess drift i samarbete med kunden.

Vem är du?
För att trivas och lyckas som vår nya projektledare tror vi att du har minst ett par års erfarenhet av att arbeta som projektledare, alternativt har du erfarenhet av att arbeta i en projektstyrd organisation och är redo att ta nästa steg. Responsibilities:
Create Supervision plan for each product / section with internal Stakeholders.
Detailed planning of quality inspections according to established Supervision plan
Execute regular quality and status inspections at supplier manufacturing location(s) according to established processes and checklists.
Create and store inspection reports according to established processes.
Engage with stakeholders for regular progress reporting.
Provide supplier development feedback after inspections.
Create and handle non-conformity reports when issues are discovered and ensure that corrections are performed accordingly.
Participate in root cause analyses with follow-up on agreed action plans.
Provide input for supplier performance management and development after inspections.
Focus on Quality and On-time-delivery and physically expedite order deliverables at supplier workshops.
Plan and execute audits for new suppliers as per the capacity requirements.

Key Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
5-10 years of work experience.
Thorough understanding of welding processes, filler materials, shielding gases, heat inputs.
Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT).
Work experience in fabrication, machining, casting, etc.
Familiarity with welding defects and acceptance criteria.
Knowledge of finishing and pickling methods.
Understanding of painting process principles.
Familiarity with different inspection methods.
Proficiency in interpreting geometrical tolerances and measurement techniques.
Proactive mindset towards health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
Effective communication skills in fluent English (both written and spoken).
Willingness to travel internationally on business.

Kärnan i rollen som Welding Instructor är att förbättra och upprätthålla verkstadens expertis inom svetsprocesser. I arbetsuppgifterna ingår att planera, samordna och utföra uppgifter som kommer från kvalitetsavdelningen samt att förbättra och öka den egna kunskapen och kompetensen.

Upprätthålla kompetenslista för svetsare
Organisera svetsares kvalifikationsprovning (enl ISO 9606)
Följa upp och utföra förlängning av svetsarkompetenser
Kontrollera svetsparametrar vid pågående produktion

Stötta arbetsledare i verkstaden att vägleda och instruera svetsare

Vem är du?
För att lyckas i denna roll bör du vara en erfaren svetsare med kännedom från relevant produktionsverksamhet. Du behöver även ha ett IWS-certifikat eller motsvarande.
Vidare har du erfarenhet av kvalifikationsprovning av svetsare samt av inställningar och användning av svetsutrustning.
Du bör ha god kommunikationsförmåga, både i tal och skrift på engelska och svenska.
Du har goda kunskaper av att arbeta med Office-applikationer och med specialiserade IT-applikationer (t.ex. PWE, Certonline).

Senior Service Specialist

Om tjänsten
Som teknisk servicespecialist ansvarar du för att tillgodose våra och kundernas behov av en väl fungerande anläggning.
Du kommer framför allt att utföra kvalificerad mekanisk service av installerad utrustning. I arbetet kan även ingå arbetsledning och medverkan vid såväl installation som igångkörning av ny eller ombyggd utrustning, samt genomföra utbildning i underhåll och mekanik till operatörer och underhållstekniker på bruken.
Exempel på utrustning du kan komma att arbeta med är service av rafinörer, impegratorer, pluggskruvar, skruvurvattnare, flisbingar, förvärmare men också hela processystem. I arbetsuppgifterna ingår även att skapa servicerekomendationer och sammarbeta med design-teamet avseende produktutveckling för service och nyinstallationer.
Tjänsten innebär ca 100–150 resdagar per år, i huvudsak inom Europa men även resor i till andra länder kan förekomma.
Vi söker dig som har
8-10 års praktiskt erfarenhet från arbete inom pappers- & massaindustrin eller liknande processindustri. Inriktning mot underhåll av mekaniks utrustning är starkt meriterande.
Vi ser gärna att du även har ett intresse för processystem och dess komponenter. Det är viktigt att du är praktiskt lagd och är serviceinriktad samt har förmåga att utveckla goda kundrelationer. Kommunikation muntligt och skriftligt på svenska och engelska förutsätts - kan du ytterligare språk ser vi det som en merit. Du kommer att behöva skriva rapporter på svenska och engelska så du måste vara bekväm med att använda Ms Office-paketet. Meriterande är om du även har kunskap i Autocad eller andra ritnings program men det är inget krav.

To our office in Gothenburg, we are now looking for a Product Engineer, Support Products to work with our products related to the Recovery Boiler. The work is covering multiple phases; sales projects, customer contracts, R&D and product maintenance. The products are Air Port Cleaners, Liquor Sprayer Station, Smelt Spout system and Smelt Spout Robot.
The tasks are varied, and the Product Engineer is the executor in whole or in parts in all steps from order to commissioning at the customer. This gives the opportunity to get direct feedback of the work performed.
The design work is mainly performed with the Solid Works tool and to some extent also with AutoCAD.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or similar, and at least 2 years working experience working as an engineer within relevant industry. It’s valued if you have experience from the Pulp and Paper Industry.
Furthermore, you have experience of mechanical design work including welded products and machined plate components as wells as general steel product manufacturing.
It’s required that you have knowledge in SolidWorks and strength calculations. You should have fluent communication skills, both written and spoken in English and Swedish.
As a person, you have a personal drive and can independently plan and deliver the work with sufficient quality. You have skills to build network and ability to cooperate with different competences with the target to reach common goals.
Travelling is included in the role.

Utöver detta kommer du att skriva dagliga rapporter för att följa upp projektets status. Valmet är ett globalt företag med kunder över hela världen, så du kommer att ha många möjligheter att arbeta i olika länder. Troligast kommer du att vara ute hos kund omkring 75% av din arbetstid. Du kommer att tillhöra ett team i Göteborg men din hemvistort kan vara flexibel inom Sverige.
Som du säkert förstår är detta ett jobb med mycket variation, med en mix av operativa arbetsuppgifter och ingenjörsarbete. Som Commissioning engineer är du en central person i driftsättningen och du har flertalet interna och externa kontakter med olika aktörer. Vem är du?
Vi ser gärna att du som söker har erfarenhet och kunskap från processindustrin. Du har jobbat i några år och börjar känna dig varm i kläderna. Om du har erfarenhet av avdunstningsanläggningar och/eller massa- och pappersindustrin, så är det ett plus, men erfarenhet från process- eller olja-/gasindustrin är också intressant. Oavsett så är det viktigt att du som person är nyfiken, vill utvecklas samt lära dig ny teknik och nya metoder. I arbetet tycker du om att få använda din analytiska förmåga blandat med att jobba mer praktiskt.
Det är också viktigt att du har en god förmåga att kommunicera och bygga relationer med både interna och externa kontakter. Du har viljan och förmågan att arbeta effektivt med våra kunder även i stressiga situationer. Hälsa och säkerhet är viktigt för oss och ett HSE-tänk är en naturlig del av ditt arbetssätt.
Vi tror att du har en teknisk utbildning och examen inom kemisk bearbetning eller maskinteknik. Requirements

MSc degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent acquired competence
Solid understanding of our industry and business processes, and proven ability to convert customer need and opportunities into sales
Willingness and drive to help our clients create industrial solutions to improve their sustainability
Documented technology and global project experience (including cost input work for sub-contracting of manufacturing & erection) of ash treatment, evaporators, lignin extraction, or equivalent products
Excellent motivation and attitude, and ability to achieve results under pressure
Good organizational skills and business acumen
Willingness and ability to travel on an international basis
Effective written and oral communication skills in English along with presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills
It is positive, but not a base requirement, if you already also have very good skills in Swedish and/or Finnish language

We are now looking for a Project Manager to our Energy, Recovery and Environmental Service team in Gothenburg.
Our main focus are upgrades and services of power and recovery boilers. We are also working with evaporation plants, lime kilns and flue gas cleaning. The project values are normally between 0,2 and 5 MEUR and projects are typically executed within 6-12 months. Our services help our clients shape a more sustainable world.
Besides executing projects, we are also responsible for long term service agreements for selected clients. Agreements typically includes process evaluations of the plant and yearly inspections.
As Project Manager you also support the sales team during the sales phase in projects. Reviewing project budget, proposed contract and participate in customer meetings are included in the role.
As our new Project Manager you are leading and executing smaller projects independently. You are also expected to take responsibility for your own long term service agreements. Furthermore, in our larger multi-disciplinary projects you will support responsible senior project manager with technical coordination of engineering activities, purchases etc.
We have clients all over the world and the work involves cooperation with our Project Execution teams globally. Shorter travels to customer sites, mainly in Sweden and Europe, is also expected from you.
Who are you?
To enjoy and be successful as our new Project Manager, we think you are in the beginning of your career towards becoming an experienced project manager. You have already a couple of years working experience and has either worked as a Project Manager already or you have experience from working in a project driven organization as part of the project team. Experience from rebuild projects within pulp, power or process industry is highly valued. As a person you have strong communication skills and you are flexible and solution orientated. You take own initiatives to find solutions and find the information you need.
We see that you have a Master/Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent. Of course, you are fluent in both Swedish and English and are used to the different MS Office tools to handle the administration and documentation in your daily work.

Som montageplanerare arbetar du i en internationell miljö med kalkylarbeten, planering, beredning och framtagande av montagemetoder för ombyggnader och underhåll av främst pannor till massa- och kraftindustrin. Du kommer även att arbeta med att ta fram underlag för upphandling av montageentreprenader.
Du medverkar i både försäljnings- och genomförandefas och detaljplanerar våra aktiviteter med säkerhet och miljö i åtanke för tryckkärls- och mekaniska arbeten.
En del av arbetena utför vi med egen personal, andra delar läggs ut på entreprenad. Arbetet innebär en del resor till våra kunder såväl inom som utom Sverige.
Du har även möjligheten att på plats leda ombyggnads- och underhållsarbeten på sodapannor inom massaindustrin och kraftpannor på värmeverk med egen och inhyrd personal. I denna roll är du Valmets representant gentemot kund. Dessutom har du tät kontakt med projektledare och rapporterar förloppet av arbetet till dem.

Vem är du?
För att lyckas i tjänsten är du förmodligen gymnasieingenjör eller motsvarande och har erfarenhet av entreprenadarbeten och montage. Har du dessutom kunskap om svetsning ser vi det som en fördel.

Who are you?
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, mechatronic, automation, chemical or process engineering or similar and at least 3 years working experience working as an engineer within relevant industry. It’s valued if you have experience from the Pulp and Paper Industry. Meritorious is also to have knowledge in electrical/AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Machine Directive, CE marking, PLC programming and robot installations and programming.
As a person, you are a driven and responsible problem solver with the ability to analyze customer problems. You are innovative and used to solve advanced, technical problems. We are looking for you who wants the challenge to lead the Energy, Recovery and Environmental Services Project Management, where you have overall responsibility to ensure successful project deliveries to our EMEA customers from our Scandinavian project management team.
Your main task is to maintain and ensure excellence in project management and oversee that our projects are delivered in compliance with agreed cost, schedule, quality targets and Valmet guidelines, meeting and even exceeding the customer expectations. Typically the deliveries are modernization or maintenance projects to recovery and power boilers, evaporators, white liquor plant and air emission control systems. The project values are normally between 0,1 and 5 M euro. The team you will lead includes project coordinators, project and agreement managers.

Vad kommer du att göra
Som Senior Mechanical Lead Engineer kommer du främst arbeta i våra kundorderprojekt. Du kommer ha en ledande roll för den mekaniska disciplinen i nära samarbete med övriga discipliner såsom t ex rör/konstruktion och process/design inom projektteamet.
Arbetsuppgifterna består i att producera tekniska dokument för köp av tillverkning hos någon av våra underleverantörer. Dokumenten omfattar bl a tidplaner, specifikationer och ritningar för tryckkärl, värmeväxlare och lagertankar. Du följer sedan upp tillverkningen kontinuerligt med ritningsgranskningar och dagliga kontakter.
Projektens omfattning varierar vilket innebär att storleken på ditt team inom disciplinen varierar. Vi värdesätter därför lika stor vikt på dina egenskaper i att samarbeta och leda så väl som att du kan utföra eget konstruktionsarbete.

Vem är du

Are you up for the challenge in a developing position within project management focusing on boiler upgrades?
We are now looking for a Project Manager to our team, EMEA Service in Gothenburg.
Valmet is working with deliveries of environmentally friendly heat and power boilers for technically demanding fuels as well as recovery boilers and evaporation plants to the Pulp & Paper industry.
Within EMEA service we are mainly focusing on upgrades and services of power boilers and recovery boilers. The project values are normally between 0,2 and 5 M Euro. As Project Manager you will manage service and upgrade projects to help our clients shape a more sustainable world.
You manage projects according to contracts with the help of assigned project teams, are responsible for project budget, handling change orders with the customer and be involved in purchasing of equipment, subcontracting and manufacturing. Some contracts are long term service agreements, where there is a need of exceptional customer relations and long term development mindset.
As Project Manager you also support the sales team during the sales phase in larger projects. Reviewing project budget, proposed contract and participate in meetings with customer during final negotiations is also included in the role.
Since Valmet is an international company, coordination with other Valmet offices can be included.
Who are you?
To enjoy and be successful as our new Project Manager, we see that you are experienced in industrial project execution; preferable as Project Manager, as an experienced Project engineer or similar position. As a project manager, you are responsible towards the customer to deliver the project together with your project team with HSE in focus, on time and at the right quality. You are responsible for the project budget, as well as all negotiations, including negotiation of change orders to the customer. You manage one or more projects simultaneously in different phases, depending on size and complexity.


You are also an important support to the sales team during the sales phase where you review the budget, contract and schedule and participate in customer meetings during final negotiation.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have a Master/Bachelor with a technical focus and several years of work experience as a project manager in the process industry, or comparable industrial activities. Preferable you are at a senior level or on the way being senior. We would like you to have good contractual knowledge and the ability to think strategically and commercially. It is meritorious if you have experience of EPC projects and projects in an international environment. Experience with our products is also considered valuable and we encourage internal applicants within Valmet.

Plan, prepare and execute trainings.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent work life experience.

As a Construction Planner your main duty will be calculating and estimating the costs and time frame for projects in the sales process.
Every project is unique, it can vary from involving a smaller group of people to mega projects on site and at the same time, you will be involved in different sales projects. As a Construction Planner, you are part of the site management team, working on both sales projects and ongoing projects, with colleagues from different disciplines. ????????????I Göteborg har Valmet kontor på Lindholmen och en serviceverkstad i Torslanda. Valmet Göteborg ansvarar för försäljning, projektledning, tillverkning och service av teknik till massabruk och energiproducenter. De huvudsakliga teknikområdena är indunstningsanläggningar, sodapannor, kraft- och värmepannor samt rökgasrening. Verksamheten i Göteborg startade redan år 1841 och har idag cirka 270 anställda.

I rollen kommer du att utveckla och leda en avdelning inom Site Operations. I avdelningen ingår funktionerna Förrådshantering (verkstad) samt Verktygs- och utrustningshantering (site).
Huvuduppgiften för avdelningen är att tillhandahålla verktyg, utrustning, tillsatsmaterial och förbrukningsmaterial till våra montageplatser hos kund, både i Skandinavien och EMEA, samt till vår verkstad. Även ansvar för fakturering mot projekten och verkstan finns med i arbetsuppgiften. Utöver detta är även provning av lyftutrustning samt underhåll av verktyg och utrustningar en del av ansvaret.
I rollen ingår att vara med i Site Operations ledningsgrupp.
Vem letar vi efter?
Då SSC:s ansvarsområde spänner över allt från hantering av förråd och containers till packningsfilosofier till provning, underhåll och konservering behöver du vara beredd på att arbeta med varierade uppgifter över tid.

Valmet in Gothenburg is active in the supply of Recovery boilers, Evaporation plants and LignoBoost plants together with various support systems to the Pulp and Paper industry as well as environmentally friendly Power boilers for demanding fuels.
Job description
Your main task will be design and lead process work for rebuilds and upgrades of Evaporation plants to the Pulp industry. You will work with Sales projects, Customer order projects as well as R&D projects. In Customer order projects you will participate in commissioning, start-up, test run and inspections of the plants.
Valmet in Gothenburg has the global product responsibility for evaporator technology within Valmet. We work closely together with our market areas, hence international contacts and travelling will be frequent, e.g. during plant maintenance revision-stops.
The ultimate target is to achieve a satisfied customer with profitable operation of the Valmet equipment.
Requirements
To be successful in this position you are a graduated Engineer with a major in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar. In addition to this you need experience from working as a process engineer. Excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing is essential, other languages could be a merit.
As a person you are innovative and skilled in technical calculations. You like to learn new things and like to present technical solutions to an audience. You are a team player but also able to find your own paths, both at work and when out travelling.

Job description
Valmet is looking for a Procurement Professional who can lead, coordinate, and execute procurement work in Valmet projects, ensuring there is a competent, competitive, and timely supplier base. You work in close cooperation with several functions in Gothenburg such as project management and engineering within Valmet P&E business line and Valmet indirect procurement function in Sweden.
Key responsibilities with the role include:
Act as procurement lead in assigned projects (Customer / Internal)
Responsible for a specific category group
Responsible for Indirect procurement on a local level
Lead negotiations within Engineering on a national level
Contract management including contract and business negotiations
Define and ensure implementation of long-term cost savings
Supplier relationship management
Conduct sourcing work

Requirements
To be successful in the position you need to be result oriented and business driven. You will need extensive experience from team leadership and business negotiations. Experience from similar positions in international business environments is considered as an advantage. You have relevant education, preferably engineering or commercial university degrees. You are skilled in business analytics in order to run with swift and fact-based decisions.
Your personal characteristics include strong communication and intercultural negotiation skills. You have an open and cooperative attitude and desire to make good results for and success within Valmet. Your English is fluent, both oral and written. System knowledge such as MS office and ERP (LN in Valmet) is required.
The position requires some travelling due to cooperation with domestic and international supplier, and location is Gothenburg.

Säkerställa att konstruktion följer givna regler och normer. I huvudsak gäller detta EN 12952 eller ASME section I.
Utföra hållfasthetsberäkningar för delar avsedda för att användas i tryckkärl

Till vår siteverksamhet i Göteborg söker vi nu en montör med inriktning sodapannor och kraftpannor.
Valmet i Göteborg arbetar med leveranser av miljövänliga kraft- och värmepannor för tekniskt krävande bränslen samt av sodapannor och indunstningsanläggningar till pappers- och massaindustrin.
Arbetsuppgifterna består av montage av pannsektioner och tillhörande kringutrustning.  
Under lågsäsong när det är färre resor, kommer du bl.a. att arbeta med underhåll av utrustning på Site Service Center (förrådet) i Göteborg eller vara med på tillverkningsprojekt i vår verkstad.
Placeringsort är Göteborg men uppdragen finns främst på våra kunders anläggningar i Skandinavien och Europa.
Vem är du?
Vi söker dig som har treårig gymnasieutbildning, gärna inom verkstadsindustri, eller motsvarande.
Vi söker främst dig som har vana av att demontera och montera upp nya delar på våra pannjobb, ofta i trånga och krävande utrymmen.
Vi ser gärna att du har erfarenhet från pannmontage eller liknande arbeten. Dessutom har du god erfarenhet av ritningsläsning.
Du har bra kunskaper i svenska och engelska, i både tal och skrift samt vana att arbeta med PC-baserade applikationer. Dessutom har du körkort för bil, truckkort, traversutbildning och erforderliga lyftutbildningar. Svetskunskaper är ett plus i kanten då vi vill att våra montörer skall vara flerhänta.
Eftersom arbetet innebär många resor krävs att du har resvana och har möjlighet att resa under både kortare och längre perioder som ibland kan vara med kort varsel.
Vi lägger stor vikt vid de personliga egenskaperna och vill att du har ett självständigt och drivande arbetssätt men också är en positiv lagspelare med social kompetens och har lätt för att samarbeta.
