Om jobbet
Som inspektör arbetar du med ärenden inom egeninitierad verksamhetstillsyn, vilket innebär att det kan röra sig om ärenden inom hälso och sjukvården, tandvården och socialtjänsten. Du kommer arbeta tillsammans med avdelningsjurister för att myndighetens bedömningar och beslut sker i linje med gällande lagstiftning vilket även kan innebära inspektioner på plats i olika verksamheter. Vi arbetar tillsammans nationellt och du har arbetskamrater runt om i landet. Du kommer i ditt arbete att komma i kontakt med såväl vårdgivare och personal som allmänheten. Som medarbetare på IVO får du dessutom möjlighet att tillsammans med engagerade och kvalificerade kollegor genom egeninitierad verksamhetstillsyn få möjlighet att bidra till en säkrare vård och omsorg.

Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter kommer bland annat att:


• handlägga ärenden inom egeninitierad verksamhetstillsyn
• göra juridiska bedömningar inom ärendeslaget
• vid behov delta vid inspektioner
• hantera inkommande remisser.

Tjänsterna är en tillsvidareanställning med sex månaders provanställning med placering i Göteborg och Stockholm. Resor i tjänsten kan förekomma.

Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som har:


• juristexamen 
• minst två års aktuell och för rollen relevant arbetslivserfarenhet från offentlig sektor
• god förmåga att uttrycka dig på svenska i tal och skrift
• körkort för manuellt växlad bil.

För att lyckas i rollen behöver du ha god samarbetsförmåga och en hög integritet. Vidare kräver rollen att du är trygg i din profession och har ett gott omdöme. Role description


Patent Attorneys are experts in matters relating to patents and are responsible for protecting inventions and obtaining patent protection and challenging third party patent rights to leverage Volvo Group’s leading technology position. Patent Attorneys are also responsible for giving proactive advice to R&D projects, inventors and other stakeholders relating to proprietary and third-party patent rights. You will also have responsibility to support and contribute to further development of IP services and processes.

Some of your responsibilities will be to:
Primary point of contact for inventors from idea to invention to patent creation and through patent lifetime.
Proactively guide and work in close relation with engineers/development projects for IP creation and to further the IP plan, such as by conducting patent harvesting sessions, IP innovation workshops, or driving activities with engineering to support IP Business domain to enact and follow through on the Group IP plan.
Provide assessments and advice to engineers, development activities, and managers, including senior management, relating to creation of own IP rights, as well as risks regarding third-party patent rights.
Manage patent portfolio (including evaluating invention disclosures and prosecuting patent applications) for at least one business sub-domain to protect inventions of interest to the Volvo Group.
Acquire technical and business knowledge within relevant business sub-domains.
Challenge third-party patent rights to leverage Volvo Group’s leading technology position including offensive post-grant proceedings.
Defend Volvo Group’s patents in post-grant proceedings.
Participate and advise stakeholders in strategic collaborations, due diligences, in- and out-licensing, sale and acquisition of IP, such as by assessing IP risk, creating IP strategies supporting negotiations, structuring the IP framework in agreements, and evaluating third-party patent portfolio.
Support IP legal team in litigation (defense and enforcement).
Drive business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide IP training.

What you'll do

Key responsibilities:

Who you are

You have 1-3 years of patent attorney experience, either from working as an in-house patent attorney or from working as one at a well-established IP law firm. You have an understanding of IP law in general and are competent in European and/or US and/or Chinese patent law. You are able to combine your legal experience and competence with a business-oriented mind-set, providing the organization with relevant and grounded advice in patent related matters. You have the interpersonal skills required to build relationships across the organization, bridging different functions and creating ad-hoc cross-competence teams as needed. If you have a Master of Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics, that is a big plus.

Our IP Business Office, to be established in its current format when you have joined, is key for the continued success and development of our IP operations. The team will consist of seven team members; one assistant, three IP paralegals and three IP intelligence analysts; working in close collaboration with the other teams and having deliveries also to other colleagues and functions within the Volvo Group.
The IP Business Office will have a focus on continuous improvement of the department’s and the office’s deliveries and be responsible for matters around our IT-system and tools for intellectual property rights, strategical searches and analyses, inventor remuneration set up, alignment of supplier relationships, KPI/PI measurements and follow up, internal and external communication activities and our IT budget and roadmap, as some examples.
As Vice President Business Office you will be a member of our Volvo Group IP management team, consisting of three additional Vice Presidents and led by SVP Legal & Group IP, closely working together in a collaborative, supportive and transparent way. In your role you are expected to drive and suggest synergies in department activities and steps needed for the department to continuously evolve and develop.
You will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden, in a dynamic office environment close to Volvo Group colleagues.


To summarize, your role will include to drive:
Operational excellence of the IP Business Office and continuous improvement of the department’s deliveries
Matters around our IT system for managing Volvo Group intellectual property rights, and other IP-specific IT tools used within the department

Role overview

We are looking for a skilled patent attorney to join the IP team at Heart! We are pioneering a new industry in Sweden, together with a wide range of international suppliers, customers, and other partners. Your role will be to handle IP activities within Heart, in close collaboration with our Head of IP and other relevant teams within Heart. This will call upon your proven ability to communicate with our engineering teams, manage intellectual property rights from conception to granted rights. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience involving drafting, and prosecuting patent applications in SE, PCT, EPO and US; patent related aviation industry experience is also preferred.

You will also have the opportunity to develop and execute internal IP training programs to build knowledge of Intellectual Property within Heart. I din roll som Paralegal är ditt primära ansvar att stötta IP-teamet genom att proaktivt underhålla verksamhetens immaterialrättsliga skydd av innovationer (patent, design, copyright), domännamn och varumärken. Role description
Patent Attorney are Volvos foremost expert for matters relating to patents. Education and Experience
Technical degree, i.e. Master of Science or equivalent

About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Patent Assistant/Paralegal to assist the Patent Professionals in the Patent Organization. You will ensure that the administrative part of Patent Portfolio Management, i.e. filing and prosecuting patent applications, is performed in accordance with our internal policies and patent law.

In your daily work, you will collaborate with Patent Professionals, Inventors, Patent Unit Managers, Outside Counsels / Law firms, and the Licensing department.

What you will do

Have your own global docket of patent families, where you are responsible for administrative aspects of filing, prosecution and maintenance. Tasks include:
Filing of patent applications with the relevant patent offices.
Managing the administrative part of the prosecution of a portfolio of patent in collaboration with patent professionals in the department.
Assignments and quality checks.
Furthermore, paralegals often participate in various projects which often span across Ericsson’s global activities.


You will bring

Bachelor´s degree or equivalent higher education
While experience working as a patent paralegal is preferable, your CV must demonstrate experience working with similar tasks such as admin tasks involving time sensitivity and formality requirements
A desire to build your competence in the role over a significant period. It takes several years’ experience to become a proficient patent paralegal and navigate our processes
Ability to work with complex systems
Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility and willingness to adapt and respond to change
A positive and inspiring attitude to your everyday work and teammates

The Patents team in Sweden currently comprises nine colleagues which work in different technology areas. Role description
Patent Attorneys is an expert in matters relating to patents. Patent Attorneys are responsible for protecting inventions and obtaining patent protection, and challenging third party patent rights to leverage Volvo Group’s leading technology position. Patent Attorneys are also responsible for giving proactive advice to R&D projects, inventors and other stakeholders relating to proprietary and third party patent rights. You will also have responsibility to support and contribute in further development of IP services and processes.
The Swedish team including you, as well as the manager responsible for the global teams, report directly to the Group Director Patents. The position offers a global working environment with dedicated and professional colleagues.

Handle IP generation / invention harvesting workshops and provide advice and guidelines on inventions, invention disclosures, patent protection strategies and proprietary as well as third party patent rights

Taking on a role that bridges science and legal practice, you'll be a global business IP advisor. Main Duties and Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of large intellectual property estates in AstraZeneca`s core and opportunistic therapeutic areas

Evaluate and monitor patent portfolios of third parties

Develop and communicate IP guidance to partners across the business, including within R&D, Business Development, commercial and legal

Essential Requirements

Fully qualified UK or European Patent Attorney, with previous experience of handling pharmaceutical patent portfolios

Excellent degree or equivalent in chemistry or biochemistry

Strong core patent prosecution skills and ability to independently lead patent dockets and portfolios in multiple markets and jurisdictions



Desirable Requirements
