What you'll do
· You will lead a team of professional specialists within the functional areas of corporate finance, business development, risk analysis and control, cash and transaction management, funding operations, FX, working capital financing solutions and treasury digital development.
· The responsibilities in the team also include financial policy adherence, risk management (including hedging) and reporting, customer payment solutions, insurance and bank contacts.
· The team works as a strategic advisor for the Business Units, supporting decisions relating to working capital financing solutions and structuring.
· The team is application owner of treasury related systems and drives the strategy for digitalization and automation within treasury.
· In this position you will also have a responsibility for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, propose and maintain risk policies and other documents governing the treasury, corporate finance and business development activities, conduct compliance due diligence on banks and drive negotiations of ISDA and similar agreements.
· Report to CFO and support with board and management presentations.
· Continue to build a robust capital structure for Polestar and develop long term strategic objectives and targets for Finance.
· As a part of the Finance management team you will lead and develop the Treasury, Corporate Finance & Business development unit to support the growth targets of the Polestar Group.

Who you are
· Proven leadership experience
· 10-15 years of extensive and relevant work experience from a Finance/Treasury/Corporate Finance department at an international company, potentially combined with experience from a financial institution or consultancy firm
· Proven experience with Corporate Finance, FX, Capital Markets, and Financial Risk management
· Broad knowledge and experience of Treasury processes and systems
· Good comprehension and experience of Cash Management and Trade Finance products.
· It is meritorious if you have worked with or in China
· University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering or equivalent

On a personal level you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have a proactive approach and good overview capability as well as detail orientation. You have high integrity and feel comfortable with controls, risk and policies. You are a natural leader with a focus on developing and coaching others. Position Overview

As we continue to grow and evolve, we are on the lookout for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Finance and Legal department, based in either our Mölndal or Uppsala office.
The CFO will be responsible for the company's financial actions, effective risk management, and planning the organization’s financial strategy. This includes developing both strategic and tactical financial plans and operational strategies. The CFO is accountable for metrics tied to these strategies and for maintaining control systems to preserve company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Additionally, the CFO will be a key contact for investors, presenting and negotiating financial deals. The role requires a business mindset, clear structure, strategic thinking, and financial control.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting in formulating the company's future strategy and supporting tactical decisions
Establishing measures which tracks the company's performance and strategic direction
Providing and presenting relevant financial figures to inform internal and external stakeholders.
Contributing to and challenging key decisions as a member of the Leadership Team
Managing and leading the financial department and its personnel

Requirements:
Strong track record in driving the financial performance of a company, establishing KPIs to track performance, and to successfully lead a finance function
Over 5 years of experience from similar positions
Prior experience in fundraising
Proven track-record strong of outstanding leadership and communication skills
Highly knowledgeable in Swedish, and ideally global, accounting legislation and financial control processes
Experience in tools, systems and processes for financial control KPIs
Ability and desire to provide both strategic direction and hands-on financial analytics to support decision making
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
High level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Meritorious:
Experience in working within a scale-up and fast-growing company
Experience in working within a pharmaceutical service-oriented business, such as a CRO.

As a base you have an Academic degree within Finance combined with some years of working experience from a controlling or other finance function in a larger industrial company. A project experience from consultancy or audit functions is also relevant. You have experience from leading and implementing projects in large organizations where you have established new processes and ways-of working with a strong drive for process improvements. Preferably you have an interest and some experience in the sustainability area

About the team
Within the Finance organization, our Performance steering & business control team is responsible for maximizing value creation in the company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to proactively identify and support key management decisions with holistic analysis and insight, both within and across functions. As part of this we oversee business planning, target setting, strategy execution, investments and management reporting. We are embedded across all functions and geographies globally.


What we offer
As Head of Business planning & Performance reporting you will be part of the Global Finance Leadership Team (led by the Group CFO) and the Performance steering Core team where you will report to Head of Performance Steering.

This is a crucial leadership role, working with the top leadership of the company across functions to secure an aligned corporate strategy and business plan optimized for value creation. You will also  create transparency on monthly and quarterly financial and strategic execution.

You can expect to define and guide and develop your team and the broader organization to drive detailed analysis to derive insights that will drive key business decisions, define key performance metrics, secure the progress of our business transformation and ensure an aligned corporate strategy and execution plan.    

You will focus both on our long term plans as well as immediate high priority business issues and see your insights turned into impactful initiatives on a regular basis.


Responsibilities
Lead an organization consisting of two teams (>10 persons), that work cross functionally leveraging the broader organization across the company to:
Own and drive long term business planning for the Group, ensuring an aligned corporate strategy and related financial plan that maximizes holistic value creation.
Secure continuous near term planning, target setting and prioritization of transformation deliverables / strategy execution for the Group, driving alignment and accountability mechanisms.
Drive monthly and quarterly Group performance steering. Create transparency on total company performance and suggest improvements to the CEO and Executive Management team by consolidating, forecasting and analyzing business performance (income, cash flow, balance sheet, people, sustainability) and execution in key areas of strategy and business transformation.
Support and lead complex cross functional business analysis and external benchmarking to e.g. assess, evaluate and quantify changes in Company strategy and priorities.
Work closely with Investor relations in messaging vs. investors and equity analysts.
Continue to develop our way-of-working, digitize, measure and track performance in the future.


Who you are
We believe that you are externally oriented, curious, proactive and collaborative, with confidence enough to speak your mind. You are also excellent in analytical and conceptual problem solving, and able to guide and develop your teams and top management in connecting financials and strategy to reality.

More formally you have a Master’s degree in Business/Finance or equivalent, and extensive experience from e.g. management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, and business operations or planning functions. Additionally, we value your good knowledge in accounting standards, Group consolidation and excellent experience in Excel and PowerPoint.

If you have experience working with and influence executive management and managing cross-functional stakeholders as well as experience in program management, leading and executing projects we see this as a great advantage.

Our Head Office is located in Gothenburg, and so is this role. However, we offer flexibility in location e.g. Stockholm, with shared time in Gothenburg office.

You and your skills:

Group Tax shall ensure that the companies within Volvo Cars follow local tax rules and regulations. For the position as Head of Transfer Pricing within Group Tax, we are now looking for a knowledgeable and experienced person focused on transfer pricing who wants to be part of an active group in a dynamic environment.

The Transfer Pricing department is part of Group Tax and consist of 7 persons specialized within transfer pricing. The group should be regarded as the Volvo Car Group´s primary authority in transfer pricing matters and the main responsibility lies with the Head of Transfer Pricing. The overall responsibility involves:

•    Securing that Volvo Car Group’s transfer pricing model is in line with the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and follows the local regulations of the country in which relevant Volvo Car Group entities are located when determining the prices of its inter-company transactions. 

•    Securing that Volvo Car Group conducts its inter-company and related party transactions at arm’s length to ensure that parties are appropriately remunerated, that the transfer pricing methods are consistently applied, and has implemented transfer pricing documentation to verify and support the transfer pricing methods applied.

What you’ll do 

You will plan, lead and secure the quality of the work within the transfer pricing department, and as such be responsible for Transfer Pricing matters in the Volvo Car group and towards other affiliates. In this role, you will pursue transfer pricing issues towards tax authorities, courts and other local authorities as well as competent authorities, lead and administer transfer pricing tax audits and queries. You will be responsible for the pro-active management /implementation/sign-off of all administrative obligations regarding transfer pricing items and participate in projects ensuring correct transfer pricing handling/set up.

You will also train and guide the organization regarding transfer pricing matters and ad hoc questions. As such, you will be a sounding board for the team members, the finance department, the foreign affiliate's team members and for other departments in transfer pricing related questions and in this securing that Volvo Cars companies meet legal requirements. Lastly, since this is a managerial position you have the overall responsibility to lead and develop the transfer-pricing department as a whole.

Do you fit the profile? 

For this role, you need to have a university degree within law or economics and extensive experience from qualified work of transfer pricing regarding large companies, for example from the tax department of a large company or an audit /consultancy firm or a Tax Agency. We want you to bring experience from leading teams and knowledge within international tax matters. This role requires a good understanding of accounting, financial and business principles. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Swedish is meritorious. 

The role is challenging and the person holding the position will continue to build transfer pricing expertise, develop in direct and functional leadership, spreading the transfer pricing message in the organization, working in and leading teams and understanding the automotive and Volvo Cars business.

Kvalifikationer och personliga egenskaper

Head of Group Insurance’s main responsibilities

Other areas of responsibility include:
Procurement of the insurance programs for the Group
Assure the quality of administrative procedures relating to premiums, policies and guidelines within the Group
Develop, in close cooperation with local and global partners, new offerings and business models, agree on and implement common tools/templates/contracts to ensure execution and control according to policies and guidelines within the Group

Main activities and responsibilities:
•Coordination of Governance, Risk and Control related tasks
•Process manager for the management and support process Ensure Risk Control and Compliance and drive improvements both for BA Volvo Penta and the Volvo Group
•Maintain a regulated risk-based order for delegations of decision authority (Volvo Penta Business Manual), in collaboration with line management
•Identify and maintain a clear governance structure and principles in order to ensure an efficient and adequate decision process
•Manage the execution of the BA ERM risk assessment program within critical areas to be reported internally and to AB Volvo
•Drive and secure implementation of the Internal control project regarding new Internal Control framework
•Drive and secure implementation of Crisis Management plan and other related activities regarding security
•Drive GRC requirements to processes and projects to assure an efficient changeable Risk/Control process and to enable fast change management activities
•Support management teams’ awareness of governance principles, inform/train critical Policies & Rules and Risk Management
•Carry out assessments to support management e.g. management control, fraud, whistle-blows etc.
•On daily basis provide Risk/Control guidance, advise and support to BA managers

We are looking for a Director Strategy & Business Development to lead and further develop the work of the Strategy & Business Development Team, consisting of Business Development, Pricing & Business Analysis, and Commercial Launch project management.
 
This position reports to the Vice President Product Management Industrial and will be part of the Product Management Industrial management team.
 
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT INDUSTRIAL


Product Management Industrial (PMI) aligns the organization to meet market needs of today and tomorrow in a profitable manner. PMI sets product strategies and pricing models, launches product development projects and supports all market regions in sales phases. PMI represents the voice of the customer towards other functions, for Volvo Penta to excel from design to aftermarket support.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and establish the Industrial Segment long-term (8-10 year) strategy.
Lead the work of developing, anchoring and following up Industrial Segment roadmaps and activities in Volvo Penta’s Tactical Plan (3 year horizon),
Lead and further develop the work of the Strategy & Business Development Team, consisting of Business Development, Pricing & Business Analysis, and Commercial Launch project management.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and total solutions
Analyze and recommend potential collaborations with external partners.
Act as secretary for the Industrial Segment Council, securing planning, preparation, moderation and documentation of decisions made in this forum.
Lead the planing, execution and follow-up of Global Industrial Segment Sales & Application Seminars.
Prepare presentations, present status reports, etc. for top management

In this role you will have close contact with the global market for industrial engines and components in order to develop the market know-how. As a natural part of the daily work there will be presentations, discussions and meetings regarding suggested business development strategy and goals with company executives and other colleagues.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and leads the accounting team and participates in market, subregional and regional events and projects as head of the accounting function. Is deputy for Finance Director in accounting matters

Ensures that the financial reporting and the financial statements are reported in a correct and compliant manner

Accounting certification is desirable (CIMA, ACCA etc..)
