What you'll do
· You will lead a team of professional specialists within the functional areas of corporate finance, business development, risk analysis and control, cash and transaction management, funding operations, FX, working capital financing solutions and treasury digital development.
· The responsibilities in the team also include financial policy adherence, risk management (including hedging) and reporting, customer payment solutions, insurance and bank contacts.
· The team works as a strategic advisor for the Business Units, supporting decisions relating to working capital financing solutions and structuring.
· The team is application owner of treasury related systems and drives the strategy for digitalization and automation within treasury.
· In this position you will also have a responsibility for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, propose and maintain risk policies and other documents governing the treasury, corporate finance and business development activities, conduct compliance due diligence on banks and drive negotiations of ISDA and similar agreements.
· Report to CFO and support with board and management presentations.
· Continue to build a robust capital structure for Polestar and develop long term strategic objectives and targets for Finance.
· As a part of the Finance management team you will lead and develop the Treasury, Corporate Finance & Business development unit to support the growth targets of the Polestar Group.

Who you are
· Proven leadership experience
· 10-15 years of extensive and relevant work experience from a Finance/Treasury/Corporate Finance department at an international company, potentially combined with experience from a financial institution or consultancy firm
· Proven experience with Corporate Finance, FX, Capital Markets, and Financial Risk management
· Broad knowledge and experience of Treasury processes and systems
· Good comprehension and experience of Cash Management and Trade Finance products.
· It is meritorious if you have worked with or in China
· University degree in Business Administration, Finance or Engineering or equivalent

On a personal level you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have a proactive approach and good overview capability as well as detail orientation. You have high integrity and feel comfortable with controls, risk and policies. You are a natural leader with a focus on developing and coaching others. As a Director Sustainability Reporting & Controlling you will be responsible for compliance with the EU Taxonomy for sustainability within finance. The scope is broad and as a functional leader you will lead and drive all financial reporting and controlling aspects of Taxonomy reporting, including audit, processes, and systems for reporting as well as education and knowledge sharing. This area is new for us, so we need you to be able to take the lead and set up the structure for reporting and controlling of this area.


You will work closely with several of our finance functions at the headquarter, with colleagues from Corporate Responsibility and Legal but also cross functionally thru the Volvo Group. In this role you report to the VP & Head of Group Business Control.


Who are you?


We are serious about our sustainability journey in the Volvo Group and in the finance function we want to support in measuring and disclosing our progress.


As a base you have an Academic degree within Finance combined with some years of working experience from a controlling or other finance function in a larger industrial company. A project experience from consultancy or audit functions is also relevant. You have experience from leading and implementing projects in large organizations where you have established new processes and ways-of working with a strong drive for process improvements. Preferably you have an interest and some experience in the sustainability area


To be successful in this position you must be communicative with strong collaboration skills. You are self-motivated and resourceful, and you thrive in a challenging environment. Another key success factor is also to be able to work on a strategic level as being hands-on and accurate in handling financial information.

You need understanding of different technologies and work procedures within R&D and will lead the investment work within a large network of contacts. This position also includes participation in Prototype Build and Verification management team, and you will support in the leading work of the department. 

What will you do?
You will lead and manage our Investment process and related project work, short- and long-term perspective. This involves leading and coordinating the prioritization and challenge stakeholder requirements to find the optimal balance for investments. You will also secure investment project follow up and if needed, coordinate corrective actions to secure that each project intended deliveries are fulfilled. Your duty will involve driving the overall disposition-plan for R&D related areas. You will establish summaries and present investment requests to higher management, as well as drive improvement of the investment work process to improve our ability to meet future demands on contributions to R&D business. R&D at Volvo Cars are in a very strong transition phase towards Electrification and Digitalisation - this has a big impact on the investment process, its content and development of related work process. 

You and your skills:
We believe you have at least University degree in technology, business administration or other field with relevant working experience for the role. You have a strong strategic and analytical ability combined with a holistic view and the ability to relate facts and details to that. We believe you possess the ability to analyse and also challenge, where needed, on a detailed level and that you are highly results oriented. Good business acumen and understanding is needed together with the ability to take decision regarding prioritisation and present for higher management. You have the ability to build understanding of future needs regarding R&D Prototype and verification facilities and their relation to Volvo Car`s business and cycle plan. You also need the ability to challenge demands and coach a strategic set up of the best solution-configuration regarding investment and bought capacity. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you are fluent in English, written and spoken.

Analys och uppföljning av resultat och nyckeltal för beslutsunderlag
Kontinuerlig utveckling av viktiga KPIer och skapa en kvalitativ rapportering
Beslutsstöd och support till verksamheten i affärsmässiga och finansiella frågor
Vara operativ och förstå bolagets affär för att kunna stötta verksamheten
Huvudansvar för en kvalitetssäkrad bokslutsprocess där du säkerställer att teamet sköter redovisningen enligt lagar och regler
Konsolidering och rapportering av finansiellt resultat

Kvalifikationer och personliga egenskaper
Vi söker dig som har akademiskt examen och minst 5 års erfarenhet av liknande position i tillverkande bolag, gärna i en internationell miljö. Du har intresse och förmåga att sätta dig in i affären, genomföra kvalificerade analyser samt koppla ihop siffrorna och verksamheten på ett affärsmässigt sätt.
För att passa i rollen som CFO behöver du vara en trygg ledare med en naturlig pondus. Du eftersträvar en tydlig struktur i allt du tar dig an. Du har ett konstruktivt förhållningssätt till olika situationer som kan uppstå och kan snabbt sätta dig in i problemets kärna. Vi ser det som självklart att du är prestigelös och har en god samarbetsförmåga. Du har ett helhetsperspektiv och har samtidigt förmågan att sätta dig in i detaljer när det behövs.

As Director of Global Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) you are responsible for the oversight and monitoring of how risks are linked up with appropriate controls in order to mitigate substantial business impact. You will report to the SVP Finance/Business Office, be a part of the Business Office Management Team and act as the Volvo Penta representative to Volvo Corporate functions within the area of responsibility. You will also be BA process manager for the management and support process Ensure Risk Control and Compliance and be a member of the process work group within Volvo Group. We are looking for a Director Strategy & Business Development to lead and further develop the work of the Strategy & Business Development Team, consisting of Business Development, Pricing & Business Analysis, and Commercial Launch project management.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT INDUSTRIAL


Product Management Industrial (PMI) aligns the organization to meet market needs of today and tomorrow in a profitable manner. PMI sets product strategies and pricing models, launches product development projects and supports all market regions in sales phases. PMI represents the voice of the customer towards other functions, for Volvo Penta to excel from design to aftermarket support.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and establish the Industrial Segment long-term (8-10 year) strategy.
Lead the work of developing, anchoring and following up Industrial Segment roadmaps and activities in Volvo Penta’s Tactical Plan (3 year horizon),
Lead and further develop the work of the Strategy & Business Development Team, consisting of Business Development, Pricing & Business Analysis, and Commercial Launch project management.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and total solutions
Analyze and recommend potential collaborations with external partners.
Act as secretary for the Industrial Segment Council, securing planning, preparation, moderation and documentation of decisions made in this forum.
Lead the planing, execution and follow-up of Global Industrial Segment Sales & Application Seminars.
Prepare presentations, present status reports, etc. for top management

In this role you will have close contact with the global market for industrial engines and components in order to develop the market know-how. As a natural part of the daily work there will be presentations, discussions and meetings regarding suggested business development strategy and goals with company executives and other colleagues.
